The Game Season Premier Review! I loved it, personally!

Did you see the game last night? OMG! I really enjoyed it. My husband and I (along with my friend Collie) went to see the premier of The Game at the Museum Bar in Atlanta last night. Since the actual official "Premier" was in L.A. the casting group held its own premier here in Atlanta last night for everyone that was involved in this season. Since I was an extra on the show, I wanted to go! We have never been to the museum bar, but it was very posh!

When we got inside, all the waitresses had on Saber Jersey's and they had blue and silver balloons everywhere. They also had this huge wall that the game was shown on via projector above the bar. We got there early because we wanted a seat. I am glad we did because it eventually became standing room only.

Now onto "The GAME". I really liked the season premier. I see that thousands felt the same way, because last time I checked it had over 56,000 likes and over 25,000 comments about last nights episode. I also believe that we needed that hour. Everything that was shown was definitely needed. It was no way it could have been a 30 minute show. Every storyline was full of emotion and made me fell like, "What would I do if..." Every character had major decisions to make and had a drama filled story line.

Melanie and Derwin: She admitted to having an abortion. We all wanted to know who she had an abortion by, Trey Wigs! I feel bad for Melanie. She had a good point, if she would have had his baby - would she really be with the love her life right now (Derwin)? Could he have handled her having someone else's baby like she did with Janey? Most likely not. But you never know. Do you think she should have told him back when it happened? Did he really need to know? I didn't like how he told her "Melanie, your lies and actions effect me!" Ummmm Derwin, your actions affected the relationship! Melanie was your girl and you cheated FIRST! That began the spiral of all things to come afterward. One thing I love about the chemistry between those two is that you can really see they love each other. And I love how Derwin is willing to work it out at all cost. I do not think he needed to punch Trey though! He didn't know Melanie got pregnant, but I guess that's a man for ya!

Malik and Tasha: This was emotional because Tasha was on a mental roller coaster. Should she choose her son or Derwin? That is a hard decision because business wise Derwin is the current cash cow! Malik is on his way o-u-t if he doesn't change in a big way! What would you do? One thing she needs to do is have more than one client! She needs to start scouting at the college games so she won't have all her eggs in one basket! I am surprised she doesn't know that. This is off the subject, but I still want Rick Fox to come back! ;) Malik and the model? I am so glad she wasn't dead, and I hope she gets it together because I liked what she did for Malik. She made him softer. And that made Malik so much more attractive.

Jason: His storyline was my least favorite because at first I couldn't see where it was going. I was thinking, is this whole hour going to be about him not like black girls but secretly loving them? It didn't get interesting until Brandy came on the scene. I knew she was going to be on the show but I didn't know the season would start with them getting married. Now I can't wait to see how this is going to pan out. I think Brandy looked great and I think she will fit in good with the cast. Jason also revealed why he only dated white women, because a black girl embarrassed him when he was young. So he was traumatized. Get over it Jason!

Is it just me or did you think TiTi was about to try to run game on Tasha Mac? I was thinking, Noooooooooo!! But I am glad he was trying to be the voice of reason.

Alright! Alright! Alriiiiight! (In my Kevin Hart voice!) It seems like this season is off to a great start! I do not know what week the episode I am on will air, but please know I will be watching!
Did you like it last night?

I finally got to meet "DERWIN" from "The GAME!"

I have a vision board and on the board I have a section that says, Meet These People... Well on that list is Oprah, The Obamas, Tyler Perry, Mary J Bilge & The Cast of the Game. Well well well, last week I got the opportunity to be an extra on the set of BET's "The GAME"! When I got the call, I called ev-ver-ry-bod-dy!! I was just going to be an extra, but I was also going to meet my long time tv crush! I am natural (without relaxer) and I usually wear my hair in twist or in a protective style* (email me and I will tell you more about hair care!). But when I got the call, I headed straight to the Dominicans and got my hair straightened, got my lashes and make-up done! Do you like my dress? I do. I also LOVE that is was only $6 at Target! We had to come to the set with make-up already ready. I knew I was fine that day! LOL!
When I got to set they made me change to this purple dress. :( For the scene we where shooting for, the purple dress was more appropriate. I guess. So be on the look out for me in the background sometime in February in my purple dress with my feather boa! I don't say anything but give a facial expression here and there! So... did I meet Pooch Hall? Yes I did. It was quick, fast and in a freaking hurry. It's so funny because we shot for two days and we were in the room together for both those days. He was even arms touching lengths away from me so many times, I almost choked! (Well the first day I did. By the second I was cool). So day 1, I said to myself, it's either now or never. So, we were standing near each other watching Malik and Jason act a scene out. I leaned over and said, "Hello Pooch! I have always wanted to meet you! I love your character and I am a twitter follower!" He smiled and said, "Oh really! That's what's up!" He put his hand out to shake my hand and said, "What's your name?" I told him. It looks like he was about to say something else to me but someone grabbed him away to do something. And that was the extent of our convo! The rest of the evening he didn't say anything nor did he the next day. He is very silly. He plays all the time. I think if it were an atmosphere where I could just be me, we would get along great but he was free to be himself. And I had to be "professional". Is he cute in person. Yes. Is he like Derwin, no. Will I still crush on him now. Probably not. Who will I crush on now? Malik. I could not stop staring at him. He was nice, slim, and so handsome. I didn't say anything to him until day 2. I just told him, I really like the show and keep up the good work. He said "Thank you and nice to meet you too!" ....... um um ummm. Also I met Jason Pitts! We actually had a convo about kids. He was a pleasure to speak with as well. I didn't get to meet the famous Tasha Mac because she wasn't there for my scene. I did get to meet Tia. I said "Hi Tia!" She said, "Hi!" smiled, and kept on walking. Yep. Kept on walking. I was kind of disappointed by that, mainly because I love her character and I wanted to really meet her and for her to just give me a "Hi!" and keep walking....well, at least I met her.

I can say that 2 of my visions (on my vision board) came true this week. 1. I acted on a sitcom. 2. I met the cast of The Game. I will never forget this experience. Now I need my "Dancing with the Stars" vision to come true!

Jumping the Broom was so good! #tome

Did you go see it? My husband and I along with another couple went on a date night to see this movie. Was it worth it? Yes it was! I absolutely enjoyed this movie and to my surprise, so did my hubby! It was a good wholesome movie. The storyline was so unexpected. You think you know what's going to happen, but you have no idea. I am really trying to write this without giving it away. #itshard

Angela Bassett and Loretta Divine did great as playing mothers and at times, you want to smack them both! Mike Epps played a pivotal role in this movie. Not only was the voice of reason but I have never seen him more serious in a film. He still had funny punchlines which were delivered with great timing too! My favorite actor, well not my favorite actor but he is my Denzel Washington, Pooch Hall of The Game did a good job too. I wonder why my heart started beating faster when his first scene came on!

I will say that the chemistry between the two lead characters (Alonzo & Patton) could definitely be felt. I would feel very nervous if I were their real life partners because when these two kissed, it made you (or me) want to start kissing! It felt like it was real. Like they were really in love! This movie was refreshing and I immediately recommended to all my friends. It's a good girls night out or couples night out! Just go support and enjoy!
