Do you worship with your husband?

Hello Ladies!

I hope your weekend was good. Mine was greeaat! My mom watched my children and I had alone time with my hubby and took care of business! (I mean real business, not kinky stuff! LOL) Ok ladies, I know you see the question above right? Well, that came about when I was sitting in church today next to my husband. I thought, "I wonder if other wives worship with their husband and is it a pull to get them to come to church."

Actually, my husband and I met at church. And out of all the things I love or like about him, the fact that he LOVES LOVES LOVES the LORD is the BEST. My husband is very spiritual and is not fake about it. When I say fake, I mean he is not one way at church and then comes home and is totally different. He is the same person! My husband operates with integrity at all times, he prays at church (he is a leader and a deacon), and he prays over us at home. If we (me and the kids) are sick, he will lay hands on us and pray. He is a tither and a giver! He reads his word at home and adores our pastor as if he was his own father. We faithfully go to church every Sunday and Wednesday and participate in all events. I don't have to push and pull him in the church doors, actually sometimes it's the other way around. I am the one sometimes on Sunday morning like, "Babe, let's relax today!" He is like,  "Get up, we are going to church!" All I can do is respect that and get my butt up! I believe that is why my family is blessed, b/c I have a true man of God. He really tries to do the right thing by God, our church and our family and I am thankful for it. I just wish he would wash the dang dishes sometimes! hmph!

Chime in ladies....

One of the thing that attracted me to my hubby was his sincere love for the Lord! I think one of the most attractive thing a man can have is a genuine love for God. Aside from his interaction with the kids, one of the things that makes my "heart" melt (LOL)...is when I see him worshipping and praising God. I am so thankful to have a man who is really saved and one who has a true relationship with Christ. Some women have spent many years praying and believing God for their husband's salvation, so it's truly a blessing to have a husband who is already saved. I think it is a blessing to be able to join your husband in worship and to have the whole family at church and not just one spouse. It has been our relationship with Christ that has kept us through the years:}

Unfortunately, my husband doesn't go to church. However, he is a man of integrity. Sorry, to say, he has more integrity and character that alot of men who do go to church. But,it does not neglect the fact he should go to church. He reads his bible and prays. He rather look at one particular preacher on TV. Sometimes he puts me in check. My husband is full of wisdom and a great dicernment for people.

Although he reverence God, he still needs a covering. I do wish he attends church with me, so we can get the same teaching. I do believe, that the church that God has for my husband is the not the church I attend and that is what I am afraid of because I love my church.

My husband is a great man. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

My hubby and I used to attend church together and then our Pastor was relieved of his duties. I didn't agree with how the situation went down therefore I wanted to leave the church. I also felt that I wasn't getting anything out of church. My hubby was adamant that we were staying! Well I felt that it was not his place to tell me where I could worship God. Well needless to say, that was the beginning of the end. We are now seperated and I'm back at my old church. Go figure huh. Now in my defense, he didn't go to church every Sunday nor was he active in any of the programs. So maybe this spat was a blessing in disguise...who knows! Still loving the blog Mrs. WIFE!

I think family worship is very important in marriage. My husband doesn't go to church every Sunday, but he does seem to make it at least once a month. In my opinion he could go more, but that's my opinion. Now, me and the children go every Sunday. I try to lead by example for the entire family, even my husband. I pray about that relationship and move on, because there is no pressing a person to do what you want them to do. But, I will say when he attends he enjoys it, and even talks about it for few days.
